A Crockpot is an awesome kitchen tool that can be used all year round:

 Crock Pots can come in many shapes and sizes. The type of crock pot you select may depend on the size of your family and the bells and whistles you want with the unit. 

Winter: Have you ever come in from fighting your way home through tough traffic, only to get a whiff of a rich odor emanating from that pot of Irish beef stew on St. Patty's day , or chicken noodle soup? A warm feeling overtakes you as your mind instantly flashes back to your childhood and the aroma of  Mom's special homemade soup was simmering on the stove as you come in from playing in the snow.

 Spring: A great spaghetti sauce simmering all day with meatballs and Italian seasonings provide a breakthrough taste that tingles the taste buds. A nice Cajun Crawfish Dip for March Madness, might be just the thing to serve to the guests..

Summer:  Tomato Sauce, brown sugar, spices, onion, garlic, cook 24 hours and spread over ribs or chicken on the barbecue - Delicious! Another inexpensive meal might be shredded barbecue pork that has been simmering for hours...

Fall: Pumpkin Spice, apple juice, nutmeg and cinnamon - A great brew of cider that will keep your young ghosts and goblins warm while that journey to collect delectable sweets.

Crockpot cooking is one way families can save money and time by creating one-dish meals that are awesome as leftovers that can be frozen and taken out for a quick lunch or reheated for next nights dinner.
